About A New Leaf
Since 1971, A New Leaf has faithfully worked in service to our mission of “Helping Families”¦Changing Lives,” making a positive impact in the lives of more than 32,000 people each year in the Phoenix Metropolitan area.
Services focus on HEALTH, HOUSING, AND COMMUNITY SERVICES, offering a continuum of support to move households from crisis to long-term health and stability. A New Leaf continues to grow to respond to needs in our community by developing comprehensive, relevant, and effective services for vulnerable and underserved families, children, and adults.
A New Leaf provides services to the most vulnerable populations in the valley, reaching out to households in crisis to help them find stability. We serve families and individuals struggling to overcome poverty, homelessness, domestic violence, and behavioral health challenges.
Last year, A New Leaf served 32,424 community members:
17,070 were families and individuals in need of stabilizing services to avoid crisis
7,626 were victims of domestic violence or other emergency situations
5,496 were children and their families in need of counseling and behavioral health support
2,232 were from low-income families struggling to maintain stable housing and make ends meet
Our impact is possible due to the dedication of more than 600 employees, the generosity of 4,000 volunteers donating 23,000 hours of time annually, an active Board of Directors, as well as our countless community, civic, corporate, and foundation partners.
