Established in 1989 by CEO Jack Rothacker, Sila Service, LLC continues to provide the highest quality home service solutions for residential and commercial property owners in the Northeast and Midwest.

Our history is family.
Before Sila, Jack got his start working with his father, Steve Rothacker, for a company called Unique Indoor Comfort. Taking guidance from his father, Jack went on to assemble a second-to-none team who expanded their business into the Philadelphia area, transforming this family business into an exciting regional enterprise. In 2010, Jack converted that enterprise to an independent organization and renamed it Sila Heating & Air Conditioning.
Despite continued growth and incredible success, Sila remains a family business at heart, with Jack Rothacker continuing to lend his expertise and support to the business as mentor and an important voice on Sila’s Board Of Directors.

Sila Services recently completed a $60,000 installation of a new central air conditioning system at the Berwyn, PA home of Austin Beltrante, the 15-year-old survivor of a near-death experience when he was electrocuted last year. The system, which was installed in his family’s 100-year-old townhome, is integral in Austin’s recovery as he no longer has the ability to naturally regulate his own body temperature.
All parts and labor were donated by Sila Services, including a high-velocity AC system to cool the 2nd and 3rd floors, a multi-zone ductless system on the 1st floor, and an upgraded electrical panel to keep the new equipment operating flawlessly. Since Austin is more prone to overheating, the new central air conditioning system will allow him to live comfortably and safely year-round in the family’s home. Sila will provide ongoing maintenance and support for the Beltrante family to ensure a lifetime of comfort.
