Women Support Group: Athena is our global women support network. With democratically elected leaders; the group is the true voice of 43% of our women workforce. The group enables women at all levels to connect with women leaders for mentorship. Most importantly, it brings together a critical mass of women to have a positive influence on culture, policy, and practice within the organization.
Experience the Culture: The best way to get to know each other’s culture is to experience it. We work with our employees to understand their company travel plans. When they travel to different places, we give them an introduction to the cultural nuances of these places; we prepare an itinerary for them to know the places better and even include dinners with the local employees.
Day-Care Centers for Children of Working Parents: We have tie-ups with a few day-care centers for all our working mothers, where they can avail of no-cost services for 5 days every month and at subsidized rates for additional days.
Mental Health Support: Bringing our true selves to work includes bringing our creative energies, but on some days our mental health does not allow that. We have arranged in-house counselors for our employees to reach out to in such times of distress. Most importantly, our leadership encourages employees to speak up about their mental health and normalize seeking support.
