The founders of RecycleSmart have always done things differently. Jaclyn’s experience in the Polar regions inspired a desire for change upon her return to Canada, where Colin spent years training, travelling and ski racing around the world where he saw firsthand the effects of climate change. Motivated to make a difference, they set their eyes on business waste and recycling in 2008, after working through the challenges (and complications) of implementing a business recycling program. They learned first-hand that it wasn’t easy, that good solutions are complex, and ”˜green guilt’ doesn’t solve problems.
We see opportunity in waste — in all its forms — our glass has always been half-full, seeking out practical, simple, and ”˜smart’ solutions to business waste.
