Our people are our secret
PAE is a foremost leader in sustainable engineering design because we hire people who dance to the beat of a slightly different drum. We value creativity as much as precision, beauty as much as practicality. We care deeply about the work we do and the impact it has on the planet. We listen. If this sounds like you, check out our current openings. We'd love to hear from you.
PAE is a triple bottom line firm. Our success is measured not only by profit, but also our commitment to the environment, our employees, and our communities.
Never stop learning
We don't mess around with learning. We believe that continuing education keeps you on your toes—at work and in life—and is the key to professional success over the long term. We're so committed to ongoing education that we created our own PAE University.
There are a lot of benefits to working at PAE
We pay well. We provide great insurance. We support your professional development and pursuit of outside interests. We're flexible about schedules and vacation time. After seven years with us, we even give you a sabbatical! What's not to love?
Hands-on experience in sustainable engineering design
Interns at PAE work directly as part of our engineering teams. From small retrofits to high-profile Living Buildings, you'll gain an understanding of the entire design process—the planning, the execution, and the problem solving.
Currently, our internship program is only offered during the summer to undergraduate students. We have internships in the areas of mechanical, electrical, lighting, energy analysis, and technology systems design.
