Coordinated Care Services, Inc. (CCSI) began in 1984 as Integrated Mental Health, Inc. (IMH) and was responsible for managing an innovative demonstration project focused on local management and alternative financing of public mental health services. Funded by the NYS Office of Mental Health, Monroe and Livingston counties, and the United Way, IMH operated from 1987 to 1992 and contributed to significant expansion of community-based mental health services and the downsizing of the inpatient and outpatient operations of the Rochester Psychiatric Center. When the demonstration came to a close in 1991, IMH was reorganized in late 1992 to form CCSI.

Today, CCSI employs a staff of more than 450 talented, dedicated professionals who work to provide staffing, consulting and operational supports needed by local departments of mental health and social services, state agencies, and community-based organizations in Monroe County and across New York State.
