With offices near most major military bases, we offer the dynamic career opportunity to create your own business as a Financial Advisor in locations across the country and abroad. Advisors go through our comprehensive licensing and training program and receive ongoing support from our corporate office.

At the corporate office, we encourage you to use your skills to support the company’s mission of coaching those who serve in their pursuit of financial security. Whether you have a background in finance or IT, we can use your talent! And with a generous retirement package, an on-site fitness center and more, we provide the resources you need to live a healthy and rewarding life, in and out of the office.
Our Mission
We are personal financial coaches serving our Nation’s military families. Since our founding in 1958, we remain committed to supporting the lifelong financial security of the men and women who serve our country. Our passion is to coach our clients to become financially disciplined and confident. We know the military’s benefit structure and retirement programs. We pride ourselves on helping our clients get financially squared away from the start of their military careers to retirement and beyond, at home or during deployment, in times of joy and in times of tragedy. We believe there is no substitute for building a relationship of trust and mutual understanding by meeting face to face.

Because many of our Advisors are veterans or military spouses themselves, we know from experience that life in the military can be demanding and uncertain. Therefore we focus on providing proactive service in flexible and convenient ways that best meet the specialized needs of our clients as they evolve. Wherever our clients go, First Command’s dedicated team is there for them with the knowledge and attention that they felt at their very first meeting.

Culture
Our Values and Culture

At First Command, values are central to our financial planning process and guide us in our conduct with clients and one another. Our core values (outlined below) and strong sense of family create a culture of accountability that allows us to work effectively as a team and deliver against our strategic priorities and initiatives.

OUR CORE VALUES

Courage. Committed to ethics and integrity, we do what is right and inspire others to do the same, even if it is the more difficult path.
Love. We value and honor all people and have an enduring commitment to our family of clients, Advisors and employees.
Effectiveness. Through servant leadership, coaching and continuous improvement, we achieve results by adding value to our relationships.
OUR COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY

First Command Financial Services, Inc. is committed to the policy of providing equal employment opportunities for training, compensation, transfer, promotion and other aspects of employment for all qualified applicants and employees without regard to sex, race, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation or veteran status.

Every effort is made to ensure that our policies regarding hiring, salary administration, promotion and transfer are based solely on job requirements, job performance, and job-related criteria. In addition, our personnel policies and practices — including those relating to compensation, benefits, transfer, retention, termination, training, self-development opportunities, as well as social and recreational programs — are administered without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, or other basis prohibited by law.
Philanthropy
Since First Command was founded in 1958, our leadership and our employees have been deeply committed to supporting a variety of non-profit organizations in our Fort Worth community and the military community worldwide.

In April 2013, in recognition of the mounting responsibilities and pressures put on United States servicemembers, veterans and their families, our CEO Scott Spiker announced a new initiative to get military families "squared away” by raising awareness and taking action to address critical issues facing active duty military, post-911 veterans and military spouses.

To demonstrate our commitment to the promises of Squared Away®, we have partnered with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Hiring our Heroes program, which aims to find meaningful employment for 500,000 post-911 veterans and military spouses. As part of that partnership, we awarded the program a $100,000 grant in its first year, and announced our own intention to recruit more than 2,100 Financial Advisors over the next five years, participate in 100 career fairs, and deliver financial workshops for US servicemembers through the First Command Educational Foundation.

We are also teaming up with Project Sanctuary, a non-profit organization that provides therapeutic retreats to military families to reconnect and reintegrate in their communities. Our donation of $100,000 to Project Sanctuary has been used to help build a permanent retreat center in Colorado. And, we also serve as the organization’s exclusive financial planning partner, delivering financial education workshops and individual family financial coaching at all retreats.

In house, we have the First Command Charitable Services Committee, which is made up of employee volunteers throughout the company who give time, money and additional resources to employee-recommended charities. Each year the committee selects five special charities to support in and around Fort Worth, Texas, as well as selecting an employee Volunteer of the Year.

To accomplish our goals of providing emotional and financial support to those in need, we are also proud supporters of organizations like the First Command Educational Foundation, First Command Package Brigade, Tarrant County United Way, and many more.
